“… this is not the way things are supposed to be.” –Colonel Cameron Mitchell

In 2008, a special ops unit exercise was under way, led by special operations commander Colonel Jack O’Neill, when they were ordered to investigate a strange power surge on the Arctic. Satellite images showed an unusual phenomena that caused the derelict Achilles to loosen from its frozen prison in the ice and sink to the bottom of the ocean. Once the team arrived, they picked up unexpected radio signals. The team located and saved three individuals named Colonel Samantha Carter (spitting image to Astronaut Samantha Carter), Colonel Cameron Mitchell (no previous service record), and Doctor Daniel Jackson (last known location was in the middle east trying to convince people about his theories of the pyramids).

Even though the new arrivals were denied the ability to use the alien device called the ‘Stargate’, in which they used to arrive, to alter the timeline, they agreed to debrief in further details of their own experiences in order to prepare the Earth for a possible threat that they believed would be inevitable. What took one reality over a decade of exploration and research took only a matter of months for our reality, thanks to the three individuals. The advancements and knowledge now before them were leaps and bounds, and the US Government established several areas within the branches of the armed forces and research divisions to take advantage of all that was unfolding before them.

Along with the knowledge of what was out there and the technical advancements that they were able to share, there was still the lack of the primary materials and allies that were only accessible through the alien devices and the technologies that were still left behind on Earth they needed to track down to collect. They were unable to find the alien device of what was found of the Achilles at the bottom of the ocean, but they were able to find the secondary alien technology in the Antarctic. The device was moved to McMurdo Station where, with the assistance, it was set up and established a new project under what was now called the Stargate program but the device. A continued effort was made to drill down to what was called the Ancient Weapons Platform but they were still months out.

Time seemed to stop still when on July 28th, 2009 the inevitable threat came true when the first alien scout ships flew through the skies of their cities. This placed the whole world on high alert as they weren’t sure what they were seeing. With an idea of what was out there already, and the continued assistance, the drilling to the Ancient Weapons Platform was found and was powered up.. But on the next day, July 29th the first wave of weapons fire hit several major areas across the world. Across the skies, several explosions happened and the attacks ended. By that time it was over, several major countries had seen some kind of damage from the attacks. But what mattered most was, the world had been saved.

For the next decade, the world took the time to repair and rebuild what was lost. First world countries took heavy damage, but were able to recover. The second and third world countries weren't affected much. But what used to make the differences in classes was what equalized those across the world. What once used to be enemies, were seen as assists and even allies overnight. Willing to work with all governments, each and every country pulled their resources to prepare themselves for any and all threats that could wipe humanity off the face of the earth.

As the looming concerns of another attack from the extraterrestrial seemed to fade away with each and every day and the advancements of their own defensive capabilities, a united alliance that now replaced the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (N.A.T.O.) was formed between the several of the major countries for humanity named the United Earth Organization. Each country had a permanent representative with a democratically elected head of state or prime minister overseeing the organization. Their primary focus was to have an organization focused on external threats to earth and humanity Unfortunately, not all countries agreed and kept to themselves especially when they hadn't seen near as much focus or damage from the first wave of attacks.

With the formation of this new organization, the United States and the Russian governments divulged the stargate technologies and the alien ancient outpost, in which, had been the technologies that had fought back the extraterrestrial threat, …

» Stargate - A New Legacy (Reset) Update

Posted on Wed May 25th, 2022 @ 3:18am by Lieutenant Colonel Jonathon Raynor in General News

Alcon,

Alright after a long a hard year... almost at least. This Sim has needed a good clean start after this major stall.

SO here is the update thus far. I have taken the past several months to see where all went wrong, issues, plot holes, and staffing from top down. The site will also be moving to a new subdomain soon and most likely a fresh new start for the site and Sim. I'd like to keep some of the writing and reuse it as it's basically a medium reset. Here are the following steps out I'm going to…

Mission: Echoes of the Fallen
Posted on Thu Mar 26th, 2026 @ 2:47pm by Chief Petty Officer Marisa Harlan & Major (майо́р) Lyudmila "Mila" Sorokova

Night had fallen, a cool breeze rustled the tent that SG-1 had partaken of the meal with the desert people. Stars were shining brightly, the sky clear, there was something about the desert at night, that had a mystery to it. There was one thing that Marisa had always loved was the diamond pin points of light that twinkled above. Slung over her shoulder was her firearm, her helmet was upon her head. She drew in breath glad that the wind had died down, glad to not be feeling the hot desert air. She took a few steps away from…

Mission: Echoes of the Fallen
Posted on Tue Mar 17th, 2026 @ 2:22pm by Lieutenant Colonel Jonathon Raynor & Master Sergeant Ezekiel Chambers & Chief Petty Officer Marisa Harlan & Major (майо́р) Lyudmila "Mila" Sorokova

The low, heavy flap of the largest tent settled behind them like a sigh, cutting the sharp desert wind to a dull murmur. Inside, the air was cooler, thick with the scent of sun-baked goat hide, smoldering charcoal, and the faint sweetness of dried dates. A single oil lamp hung from the center pole, its flame steady, throwing soft gold across the woven reed mats and the low cushions arranged in a rough circle.

Kasuf gestured with an open palm. As he spoke his native language, the translator on Raynor's radio spoke loud for all of them to hear. “Sit.…

Mission: Echoes of the Fallen
Posted on Wed Mar 4th, 2026 @ 1:29pm by Major General Richard Lockhart (Raynor) & Colonel (полко́вник) Irina Zaitseva

Colonel Irina Zaitseva left the meeting without ceremony.

The corridor outside was utilitarian and new—reinforced concrete walls still pale, seams sharp, conduit and ventilation ducts running in disciplined lines overhead. The air was cool, filtered, and faintly metallic on the nose. The sound of boots echoed, and somewhere deeper in the base, machinery thrummed like a distant heartbeat.

From a doorway along the corridor, Major Mila Sorokova pushed off the frame and fell into step beside Zaitseva, matching pace without being invited. “You look like you just drank some very bad vodka,” Sorokova said quietly. “Did it go that poorly?”…

Mission: Echoes of the Fallen
Posted on Fri Feb 27th, 2026 @ 7:55pm by Commander Aaron Wander & Major (майо́р) Lyudmila "Mila" Sorokova

Aaron rubbed his temples and sighed before blinking three times and opening the door to his room and stepped out into the hallway. It'd been a hell of a first trip through. Now though, he needed to decompress.

He walked along the marked corridors until he came to the general mess. There were a few chairs and tables near the back of the room and proper dining tables closer to the front where the galley window and trays were currently stacked.

A table next to the door held several stocked drink machines and some light snacks. He put a cup…

Mission: Echoes of the Fallen
Posted on Fri Feb 27th, 2026 @ 7:53pm by Commander Aaron Wander & Scarlett Hayes Dr. & Major Amy Ludd & Pilot Officer Aisling Quinn

//ON//

Shadows played off the walls of the corridor in strange patterns as the carved stone gave way to ornate metallic panels and then to eerily familiar architecture. There were obvious signs of Go'auld technology and building, but it was seemingly overlaid on something far older. There were sections where the ornate panels curved or bulged out, conduits and control crystals embedded through them and into the technology underneath.

Aaron Wander resisted the urge to reach out and touch the conflicting mix of technology. It reminded him of biology classes where they learned about parasites which took over the host…
